The Bongo is an annual event that takes place in the city of Bongo, about 130 kilometers northwest of Dar es Salaam, and is one of the biggest celebrations of the year. The festival showcases the biggest and most exciting talent in the country. Over the years, the festival has evolved from a celebration of local culture and traditions to a large-scale event that includes the participation of international artists and the world's biggest events.
